Directed by Shane ‘Lethal Weapon’ Black, and written by Black and Anthony Bagarozzi, The Nice Guys isn’t set for a UK release until June 3rd 2016. However, there’s already a trailer out, and as it stars Russell Crowe, Ryan Gosling and Crowe’s LA Confidential co-star Kim Basinger I thought it would be worth posting it here.
The Nice Guys is set in Los Angeles sometime in the seventies and concerns Gosling as a Private Eye (Holland March) and Crowe as ‘Jackson Healy’, a muscle for hire who punches first and asks questions later. When the pair both follow the same missing persons case they become embroiled in something much bigger and become targets themselves.
THE NICE GUYS will be released in UK Cinemas on June 3rd, 2016.
