For the last 7 days I’ve been immersed in the madness that is Milan Fashion Week. Thanks to a partnership with Italian Publication, Iodonna I was allowed backstage at of the biggest fashion shows at MFW, access to red carpet interviews at the #Amfar charity fundraiser, and invites to some of the biggest parties in town. Over the next few days I’ll post some of my videos and experiences but as I arrived a day early I headed to the Milan Fashion Film Festival.
The voting panel included Franca Sozzani (Editor in Chief of Vogue Italia), Photographer Rankin and Director and Producer, Lisa Immordino Vreeland. The big winner on the night was Dutch director Femke Huuderman who took away 3 prizes for Best New Designer, Best New Director and Best New Fashion film for her delightfully quirky short movie “Pippin and the Pursuits of Life” (see below)
