I got my hands on the new Samsung A5 for a few days this week, so when the sun made an appearance I ventured out into Norwich to take a few snaps. The camera is pretty high spec and I was really impressed on how razor sharp the images were in most circumstances.
There are a ton of filters to play with, but I thought it might be a good idea to just point and click and see what the results were like. The Samsung A5 can take images of up to 13MP in size, so if size is important to you, the A5 should more than make the grade.
Colours are really vivid, and as you would expect it’s really easy to share your photos via facebook, twitter etc and other apps on your phone. In addition to the excellent editing features that come supplied (and Google Playstore) there are a range of Samsung Apps that can fine-tune, retouch and adjust your pics until your hearts content.
Functions include a wide selfie mode, which is a bit like a panorama shot, but demands a very still group to get a really clear image. If you look below you’ll see how the camera smooths the skin for an instant selfie, although it only seemed to work on one of us at a time!
Obviously these pics have been resized and saved for the web, but you can get an idea of the quality. You can download a Zip file of the original pics here to check the quality.
