Röyksopp released what they claim to be their “last” album ‘The Inevitable End’ last month and it was a full-on electronic barrage of intent and wizardry from the Norwegian duo. The album made its presence felt right from the go with opening track Skulls, which now has an accompanying video.
‘Skulls’ was the first track taken from the album, a song that comes with an invitation and a stark warning, set amongst squelchy bass lines and filtered synths. Directed by frequent collaborator and fellow Norwegian Stian Andersen, the clip is a haunting black & white affair.
