Recently Yorkshire’s very own SXSW (Sort of) has become a staple for the opening of the summer’s festival season and 2014 is no different as Live At Leeds returns once more from the 2nd-5th May.
The event is somewhat of a ‘what’s hot’ guide in real life and also bolstered by some global names across the stages.
The first announcement include The Strokes’s Albert Hammond Jr, Clean Bandit, F*ck Buttons, Tourist and more.
Rock fans will also rejoice at the inclusion of Leeds’ very own chart- bothering Pulled Apart By Horses as well as fellow locals, the captivating I Like Trains. Brighton’s newest noise-mongers Royal Blood also feature.
As well as this the weekend features a separate set of eclectic, stand alone ‘Live At Leeds presents’ shows featuring Brighton’s alternative duo Blood Red Shoes, Dublin based 2013 breakthrough rockers Kodaline and post-metal titans Neurosis respectively.
