Preview: Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie

There’s something really timeless about the old Snoopy and Charlie Brown cartoons, the work of artist Charles Shultz, the characters first appeared over 65 years ago in a newspaper comic strip called ‘L’il Folks’ and then later in ‘Peanuts’. Starting off in only seven publications, when Shultz passed away in 2000, it was being printed in 2,600 newspapers in 75 countries in 21 different languages. So it seems it was only a matter of time before a re-boot would take place in the form of a Hollywood Movie.

Here is the teaser trailer, the movie is scheduled for release on later in 2015. What it’s going to be like, I’m not sure but some of the signs are good, it’s being made by BlueSky, the people behind Ice Age and Rio and features the unmistakeable sounds of Vince Guaraldi’s classic piano theme.
