A winning smile at Smilepod

Who knew that you could give up thirty minutes of your time at a Smilepod clinic in central London, and come out with a stunning shiny new smile?

My teeth, like me, are a tad sensitive, so normally I wouldn’t choose to sit in a dentist’s chair for half an hour, voluntarily. However I do like to grin! So when the opportunity arose for me to try out the High Gloss Diamond Polish at Smilepod’s Poland Street Clinic in Soho, I considered how much red wine and coffee I had downed over Christmas and thought that the pay off would be worth it.

After all every girl loves diamonds right? And actually it wasn’t as daunting as I first imagined; My lovey Dentist, Dr Gino put me completely at ease; Gentle, chatty but not too chatty (as how can you answer with a mouth full of a vibrating scaler!) and knowledgeable. He advised that I had a cracked tooth, that my normal dentist should take a look at- or he was happy too if I wanted to book in again…

Deep teeth cleaning almost gets neglected, and it’s amazing what a thirty minute treatment can do to perk up your grisly gnashers. Just brushing at home doesn’t get down to remove all that grungy plaque and tartar, but a HGD can! I didn’t leave with the ultra bright Rylan smile but I could certainly see and feel an improvement, and have all good intentions to floss too.

Maybe it was the ultrasonic scaler, or the finishing touch of diamond polish paste that made me super smiley for the rest of the day? Who knows, but If you aren’t ready to bleach your teeth, this treatment is the ideal baby steps in the right direction, and is incredibly reasonably priced.

With clinics all over London in Soho, Holborn, Covent Garden, Canary Wharf, Bank and Moorgate, you can pop in at lunchtime wherever you are!
