Explore the many different neighbourhoods
London is a city with a host of neighbourhoods that transport you far from the hustle and bustle of the more tourist areas. Head to places such as Connaught Village or Marylebone village where you will find quaint streets and independent shops and bakeries. You could decide to hire an Electric Scooter to get around and save you doing so many steps if your feet get tired! Be sure to stop off for lunch and wander round the boutiques to make the most of your day.
Check out its great foodie scene
London has an enviable foodie scene where no matter what you’re craving, you are sure to find it. There are many food markets that you can take advantage of, from Borough Market to Camden Market, as well as plenty of other places in between. You can find independent wine bars dotted around the city, as well as cheese shops in London, bakeries and street food stalls. If you want fine dining, there are numerous Michelin-starred and AA rosette award restaurants. It’s also well worth checking out China town where you can dine on authentic Chinese food.
Visit the many attractions on offer
As well as the above, when you head to London, you need to be sure to visit the many attractions it has to offer, particularly if you’ve never gone before. Some of the main things that you need to see include Buckingham Palace – you can tour the rooms during certain times of year. You also need to head on the London Eye which gives you fantastic views of the whole of the city. Other activities include the Tower of London, The British Museum, visiting Tower Bridge and heading to St Paul’s Cathedral. Be sure to book before you go and you could save some money on entrance tickets!
