Stag-do’s and Hen Parties: Where to go

Stag and Hen do’s have had a revamp. Whilst nights out wearing L plates, tutus and getting delivered home in a wheelbarrow still happen, more and more are looking for a real and memorable occasion to mark the abolition of a life of being free and single. .

Activities now can vary from bespoke dance classes to cocktail and chocolate making to renting out a cottage in a forest. Whether you are looking for a relaxed weekend with the girls or a more rowdy few days of inebriation, there is now something to suit all. Here are some of my favourite hen do ideas..

Where to go in the UK:

Brighton
Thanks to its beautiful sea views, vibrant clubbing scene and eccentric culture, Brighton has become a fast favourite for stag and hen dos. Head down to it’s very own cabaret club, visit one of the many nightclubs and spend some time on the rides on the pier…

London
London is jam-packed with things to do. From themed night such as Maman le Mot (a world war two themed spy evening) to cocktail master classes or a ride on the London eye, the city has enough to keep everyone entertained.

Where to go Abroad

Prague
Known for its architecture, rich heritage and  world class beer, Prague is great for a stag do. Flights from the UK take just under two hours so if you leave early on a Friday and late back on a Monday you’ll get lots of time to explore the city.

Paris
No-one does class quite like the Parisians and if you are looking for a beautiful way to celebrate your upcoming wedding with the girls look no further. Sample delicious afternoon teas, Bistro dinners and rooftop bars overlooking the Eiffel Tower; plus easy transport links mean it won’t take you long to get there.

Iceland
If you have a winter wedding coming up and are looking for something a little less conventional, take your loved ones on a trip to Iceland to try and spot the Northern Lights. Spend your time soaking in the natural hot springs, whale watching and having a go at snowmobiling.

Activites

Dirty dancing classes
Learn steps such as the salsa and the cha cha cha and spend the afternoon dancing to the tracks we all know and love! Learn the actual dances from the movie and have the time of your life…

Cocktail  & chocolate master class
What could be better than an afternoon of learning to create chocolates and cocktails and finding out what works best together? Plus you get a goodie bag to take home!
Ultimate army assault course – Put your fitness to the test and experience a course through woorland, trekking through mud, crawling through underground tunnels and jumping through hoops. Work together to beat the course and be prepared to get muddy!
