I have to admit when I first heard about the Total Recall remake I was slightly worried they would ruin it. Things didn’t get better when I found out it starred Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale.
Now, having seen the trailer (below) I am actually really looking forward to seeing it.
The new version looks like a slightly more serious take on the brilliant, original 1990 Paul Verhoeven directed movie of the same name, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone.
Director Len Wiseman has previous experience in this type of thing, directing the Underworld series and the 2007, Live Free and Die Hard movie. He is also married to Kate Beckinsale, so I hope neither of them have to deliver the line ‘consider that a divorce’ anytime soon.
