Following the official launch at the Geneva Motor Show back in March, Lotus have just announced more information regarding their fastest and most powerful road car ever, the Evora 400.
Its, fast. The new Lotus Evora 400 flew round the Lotus test track at Hethel a full six seconds faster than the previous Evora S in just one minute 32 seconds. Top speed is 186mph and it will fly to 60mph in only 4.1 seconds (0-100kmh in 4.2 seconds).
Its new. Two thirds of the new car is completely new including a new charge-cooled mid-mounted 3.5-litre V6 engine that produces 400 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque. The chassis is new too and as you can see from the photos, the new interior and the lightweight composite body looks the business.
Its £72,000. Order books are now open and first deliveries of the new Evora 400 will be made to UK customers in August this year.
