If you’re heading to London for some last minute Christmas shopping and looking for a little piece of luxury The Dorchester is currently offering ‘3 Nights for the Price of 2’ subject to availability between today (Dec14th), right up until 3rd April 2016.
The Hotel, one of the most famous in the world first opened in 1931 and is home to Alain Ducasse’s 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, currently one of only four in the UK.
The special offer is also available at any of the other hotels in the ‘Dorchester Collection’ including the Le Meurice, Paris which to celebrate the Andy Warhol exhibition ‘Warhol Unlimited’, taking place taking place at MOMO to 7th February 2016, the Hotel has created a special ‘Pop Art’ package.
Warhol was famously filmed unwrapping and eating a hamburger for over four minutes before saying: ‘My name is Andy Warhol and I just finished eating a hamburger’. This has been Le Meurice’s chef Christophe Saintagne inspiration to create a traditional hamburger with a French twist using all locally sourced ingredients, priced at €42 this is much more than just ‘Le Big Mac’.
Head pastry chef Cédric Grolet has also created a mini collection of four choux pastries flavoured with lemon and mint, honey and tarragon, chestnut and blackcurrant, and smoked pear in homage to Warhol’s favourite screenprinting colours. The irresistible desserts are €16 each.
Bookings for the ‘3 Nights for the Price of 2’ offer must be made by midnight February 29, 2016. All Dorchester Collection rates are per room or suite, per night, based on double occupancy. The offer does not apply to Classic Rooms at Hotel Principe di Savoia.
