The first ever Kapow Comic-Con takes place this weekend (9th and 10th April) in London and Flush the Fashion will be there to cover the event. If you haven’t got a ticket already, then you’re out of luck as it has sold out.
It looks like being a pretty amazing weekend. Here is a quick look at some of the things happening over the two days…
2000AD Mega-Stars Panel
The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic’s script and art droids, past and present, come together to discuss working for 2000 AD as well as looking ahead to what projects are coming up on the future.
Jonathan Ross V’s Pro Gameshow
TV chat-show King hosts Jonathan Ross a one-of-a-kind panel show where three big-name writers and artists face off against three super-fans in a comic-book trivia competition.
Q and A with The League of Gentleman’s Mark Gatiss, the stars of TV shows Being Human, Misfits and Skins. A cool X-Men event with people from the comic and a huge range of writers and artists from the world of comic books.
Exclusive scenes from the new Thor Movie, plus exclusive footage from an as yet unannounced Block buster.. (any ideas what it might be?)
There is also a Q & A with Joe Cornish (from Adam and Joe) and director of upcoming movie Attack the Block.
Check out the trailer below…
Plus a IGN sponsored area where attendees are given a chance to try out the latest games and exclusive first look’s at some of the biggest releases of 2011.
We’ll be covering the event on Twitter, and look out for a full report next week… so if you can’t make it you still be able to hear about us enjoying it!
