The good folk and bastions of taste PIAS (in association with Rockfeedback and Amazing Radio) are hosting another one of their excellent multiple lineup nights on the 3rd November.
Just in time to bass blast away any potential winter blues, in the headline slot they have the superb rave joy that is Vessels who we’ve covered before here on FLUSH. Their album Dilate (2015) gets regular play in my household (and travels) and they really are wonderful live, like a burgeoning Underworld. They DEFINITELY have to be seen live especially as they’ll be testing out tracks from their forthcoming album due for release in 2017.
Also in the line up is the duo (cousins) Kllo over from their native land of Australia (were they are being called ‘Breakout Stars of 2016) bringing their beautiful gentle vocals and two-step/R&B seriously lush vibes. They also have their debut album coming in 2017 so now would a brilliant time to catch them and let them warm up your soul with their waves of sonic tenderness.
The last act for the night and also another one to catch before they explode all over 2017 is Groves, hailing from Manchester now relocated to South London. Recently signed to Different Recordings they’ll be maintaining the dance orientated love with echoes of rich house beats mixed with live instruments that they’ve honed at warehouse parties and club nights.
It all promises to be a wonderful antidote to the chilly longer evenings with the added bonus that it’s being hosted in the newly opened Omeara in Borough, South London. Another added bonus is the opportunity to two tickets to the night itself courtesy of PIAS.
To enter the competition answer the question:
What was the name of Vessel’s 2015 album?
Winner will be picked at random, doesn’t include transport to the gig (in London) contacted via text on Sat 3rd Nov, we don’t keep your details and we don’t spam. Usual Terms etc. Good Luck!
