Alice Cooper in the Fourth Dimension

Alice Cooper in 4dWith a name like Flush the Fashion you might have guessed we are be big Alice Cooper fans.

When I first heard about this event though I had to check the date to make sure it wasn’t April Fools Day.

Just weeks after the original Alice Cooper band got together again to be inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, Alice Cooper, Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith and Michael Bruce, plus Steve Hunter standing-in for the late Glen Buxton are ‘performing’ at a very special event on Wed May 11th in London.

You might think you are on the cutting edge of Technology with a 3D TV, but for Alice that is yesterdays news. He comes in 4-D!

The Alice Cooper event, in association with Jägermeister is being held at the iconic Battersea Power Station and will be the largest ever holographic, audience-interactive stage experience seen in the UK. Alice and the band will be beamed in holographic 4-D across the Atlantic for the show.

Using the very latest technology, V-Depth, the audience will be part of an exclusive, interactive show. Am not 100% sure what it will be like, but is sounds brilliant!

In case you are wondering Jägermeister is a German herbal spirit drink highly coveted by everyone from Dave Grohl to golfer Rory Mcllroy. It’s popular in America but still quiet new to the UK, hence the promotional activities – incidentally Jägermeister are also major supporters of new and unsigned bands (so that’s another good reason to drink it).

With a Zane Lowe DJ set, and and a live performance from The King Blues, it looks like it could be one of those special nights.

There are only 800 tickets available but the good news is you can win one by going to the Jägermeister UK Facebook page.
