After a brilliant directorial debut with Submarine, Richard Ayoade is back with a new movie. The Double is based on a novella written by Fyodor Dostoyevsky in 1846 and stars Jesse Eisenberg and Mia Wasikowska. The story concerns an office worker (played by Eisenberg) whose life is turned upside down when his doppleganger enters his life. The film is a dark change of pace when compared to the feel-good Submarine and from the look of this teaser there are Brazil-esque leaning in its visual style.
The Double also features appearances from Submarine cast members Noah Taylor, Craig Roberts, Paddy Considine and Sally Hawkins, plus Ayoade’s cohort in The IT Crowd, Chris O’Dowd. Looks Great!!
