Call My Agent! The Movie Is Coming to Netflix and I Cannot Wait

Five years is a long time to wait. But then again, good things and all that.

Call My Agent! — or Dix Pour Cent if you prefer the original French — was one of those rare series that genuinely made you fall in love with every single character, even the completely impossible ones. Especially the completely impossible ones, if I’m honest. And now, finally, the gang from ASK are coming back for a feature film landing on Netflix on the 10th September 2026.

The announcement came with a nicely timed surprise appearance on the red carpet at Cannes, which feels entirely appropriate for a show that always had one foot planted firmly in the glamour of the film world and the other in glorious, chaotic reality.

So what’s the story? Five years after the agency shut its doors, Andréa is trying to direct her first feature film. Her lead actor walks, she falls out with her producer, and she ends up in an uneasy alliance with Noémie — now doing very well for herself in reality TV — convinced she can run rings around her. Spoiler: things do not go smoothly. There’s a complete recasting crisis, on-set disasters, and a custody battle thrown in for good measure.

And then, one by one, all the old ASK colleagues start showing up on set. Each with their own agenda, their own ego, and apparently quite a few unresolved issues. Honestly, it sounds like exactly the kind of beautifully observed, slightly chaotic, deeply funny storytelling that made the original series so special.

The full cast is back too — Camille Cottin, Laure Calamy, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Nicolas Maury, Fanny Sidney and the wonderful Liliane Rovère, alongside Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne, Laurent Lafitte and others. Directed by Emilie Noblet and written by Fanny Herrero and Lison Daniel, who know this world inside out, so you’re in safe hands.

There’s something genuinely lovely about a show like this coming back in film form rather than just another season. It feels like the right scale for where these characters are now — older, slightly more complicated, but still magnificently themselves.

The 10th of September feels like a very long way away right now. (It isn’t, but it feels like it.)
