Week 3 – Was Half Term, so we headed away from Norfolk and up to Liverpool, then The Lake District.
Spent a few days in Liverpool.
This brilliant mural is next to a busy roundabout in Seaforth along from the dockyards. It’s been here for a few years and there has never been any graffiti on it.
Nanny Helen
Went to see Nanny Helen, she is never far away from a puzzler book and a cup of tea. She is slightly out of focus, but the light above her head looked great.
Chocolate Shop Grasmere, Lake District
This is a happy accident, was trying to take a picture of the chocolates in the window (they make them on the premises) but the camera focused on a couple across the street in the reflection.
Porsche
No, this isn’t Monaco or the south of France, England has some incredibly beautiful landscapes too. This is in the Lake District (Windemere) the hills and lakes around this area can compete with anywhere. BTW that is not my car.
Running
Was trying to give this picture of my daughter Evie a slightly cinematic edge. The long corridors in our Hotel (Wentbridge House) reminded me of the film, The Shining.
Magna
Went to probably the strangest museum ever. Is inside a HUGE old steel refinery outside Sheffield. Is called Magna. These people are watching a Fire Tornado. Amazing Place. www.visitmagna.co.uk
