Grenoble-Bastille Cable Car
This is the Bastille in Grenoble, South East France, just at the foot of the Alps. It is the one of the oldest cable cars in existence. At the top there is a crazy place with zip wires, rope bridges called Acrobastille. Terrifying, but good fun.
Food
I was in Grenoble for a couple of days, the city has a laid-back atmosphere and lots of nice places to eat and drink. Stopped at an indoor market, lovely fresh bread, cheese and fish. What more do you need?
Les Deux Alpes
The two villages of Mont-de-Lans and Vénosc make up Les Deux Alpes, when there isn’t as much snow around in the Summer you can still ski, but the resort is well known for its Mountain Biking. I did the (easy) Green run, you don’t need to peddle, just hang on. You can reach the top of the mountain by an tube style underground tunnel 3,600m above sea level.
