It seems like designer Orla Kiely is everywhere at the moment. After making her name in the world of Bags and Hats, she’s expanded into a number of different areas including Clothing, Wallpaper and Fragrances.
You might also remember a few weeks ago we tested a Limited Edition Citroën DS3 (and pretty cool it was too). Now she has worked together with Pure on these gorgeous Evoke Mio ‘Orla Kiely’ Abacus Edition DAB Radios.
I’m a bit of a sucker for 50’s inspired design and these radios go perfectly next to a pot of tea and some cucumber sandwiches while listening to the test match in the garden.
Mind you, it’s a bit nippy to be doing that sort of thing at the moment, so cocoa and scones by the fire may be a more sensible accompaniment to the aural clarity of digital technology.
They also have an aux-in connection so you can also plug your MP3 player into the side.
