Travel: Wabakimi Provincial Park with Ray Mears

Pete Coombs travelled with Ray Mears to Wabakimi Provincial Park, which is a 90 minute drive due north of the Lake Superior harbour city of Thunder Bay. Wabakimi is accessed at the end of highway 527, where it meets the Trans Canadian Railway line (CNR).

Moon Duo – Shadow of the Sun

Admittedly a fairly uninspiring album title, but what’s inside is much more creative. Sort of. The former duo, made up of Wooden Shjips’ Ripley Johnson and Sanae Yamada produce a sound that is rooted in early seventies Krautrock culture – a nice throwback, but hardly breaking the mould.
